Lucas and Caroline
When I arrived to this wedding, I was six months pregnant in the thick of my wedding season on a scorching hot day. I walked into the bride's family home where the girls and all the bride's family was getting ready and was greeted with a gifted onesie picked out by the bride for our little girl. I say all this because this kindness and care for me as I was immersed in the familial excitement of getting ready really set the stage for how the rest of the wedding day would go.
Lucas and Caroline were married on June 30 surrounded by two families who cared for each other and became one with joy multiplied! The details of this day were elegant, timeless, and beautiful. The ceremony was worshipful and the reception was both romantic and playful. They served their favorite desserts... both donuts AND Graeters ice cream.
At the end of it all, Caroline changed into her dancing dress and they closed the night out holding onto their loved ones and singing Sweet Caroline with all the soul they had.
